What does the sermon recap email contain?
A subject line and a short message about the sermon, written from the transcript so it follows what was said. One Copy button copies it all. Read it before you send it, as you would any draft.
Does it send the email for us?
No. Nothing is sent for you. You copy the draft into your own email tool and send it from there.
Can I paste it into my email tool?
Yes. It is plain text. Copy it and paste it into whatever you use to send email. Sermon Uploads does not send the email for you.
Can I change the wording?
Yes, in your own email tool after you copy it. You can also ask for a new version of the email, up to five times in 24 hours, and your other drafts are not touched.
When will I have it?
Typically about 15 minutes after the upload, which is usually enough time to have it before your Monday follow-up email goes out. It varies with the length of the recording.
Does it work as our church newsletter?
It covers the sermon part. It does not include announcements or service times, so add your announcements, dates and links around it.
