How much does ProPresenter cost? Price per seat and cheaper options
ProPresenter costs US$29 a month per seat, or US$289 a year, with a 14-day free trial. What a seat is, what you get, and what EasyWorship, Proclaim and free options cost.

ProPresenter costs US$29 a month per seat when billed monthly, or US$289 a year (shown as US$24.08 a month) when billed annually, and it offers a 14-day free trial. For 11 or more seats, the page points teams to sales for an Enterprise plan.
Disclosure: Church Media Kit wrote this guide and competes with ProPresenter for part of the job: we sell Sermon Slides, which builds a sermon presentation you can download as PowerPoint or PDF (ProPresenter, Keynote and Google Slides: coming soon) and present from Studio. This guide says below where the alternatives are cheaper, and where ProPresenter offers more.
ProPresenter is church presentation software: it puts song lyrics, Bible verses and slides on the screens during the service. It is priced per seat, and a seat is activated on a device; the page does not say how many computers one seat covers, so check the licence terms before you plan a booth with two computers. If your pastor asked you to find the price, bring back three things: the price per seat, how many seats you need, and the trial link.
Here are the sums for a church. The prices below were read on ProPresenter's own page in a browser on 31 October 2026. Prices change, so confirm on the vendor's page before you buy.
How much does ProPresenter cost per month and per year?
ProPresenter's page has a Monthly and a Yearly toggle for its Standard plan, priced per seat.
| Billing | Price per seat |
|---|---|
| Monthly | US$29 a month |
| Yearly | US$289 a year |
One seat comes to US$348 a year billed monthly (12 times US$29, worked out here) or US$289 a year billed annually (shown as US$24.08 a month), so three seats come to US$1,044 a year billed monthly or US$867 billed annually. Paying yearly saves US$59 a year per seat, about 17 percent, which matches the "save 17% or more with yearly" line on the page.
For 11 or more seats, the page offers an Enterprise plan through sales instead of a price. It describes it for a multi-site church or a large team.
What does a ProPresenter subscription include?
The page lists these as included with a subscription: limited access to the ProContent library, one free ProDisplay screen for your first year, seven-day-a-week support access, regular feature releases and operating-system support, and account management for teams and users. It also says you can edit and build shows without activating a seat.
It does not say what a "seat" covers in terms of computers. The page talks about activating and deactivating your devices, so read the vendor's licence terms to see how many machines one seat allows before you plan a booth with two computers.
Is there a free trial or a free version of ProPresenter?
There is a 14-day free trial. The page lists no permanent free plan. If you want free software for church screens, FreeShow and OpenLP are free and open source, and PowerPoint, Google Slides and Keynote are options you may already have.
What do the alternatives cost?
| Tool | Price shown by the vendor | Trial |
|---|---|---|
| ProPresenter | US$29 a month or US$289 a year, per seat | 14 days |
| EasyWorship | Basic from US$17.50 a month (US$210 billed yearly), Premium from US$27.50 a month (US$330 billed yearly); starting prices depend on your weekly attendance | 30 days, no card |
| Proclaim | No price was shown on its home page; one subscription covers your whole team, with unlimited seats and installs, per the vendor | 14 days, no card |
| FreeShow, OpenLP | Free, open source | Not applicable |
EasyWorship's page, read in a browser on 31 October 2026, says one price covers a campus licence, which it describes as use on multiple computers within a single location. It also lists Windows and Mac support, free support, and live onboarding with a trainer. ProPresenter's page, by contrast, lists features such as multiple outputs and a key output for broadcast graphics, so ask whether your team needs them before paying for them. Proclaim and the free tools are covered in our church presentation software comparison.
Where is each tool stronger, and who does it fit?
From the vendors' own pages, read in a browser on 31 October 2026:
- ProPresenter lists up to 8 unique outputs, stage screens for the band or speaker, an alpha-key output for broadcast graphics, macros with MIDI and DMX control, and scripture lookup in 130-plus translations (some sold separately). It fits a church with several screens, a livestream, or a trained operator.
- EasyWorship lists Windows and Mac support, free support, live onboarding with a trainer and a campus licence priced by attendance, with a 30-day trial. It fits a church that wants one price for a campus and help getting started.
- Proclaim says one subscription covers your whole team, with unlimited seats and installs, and a 14-day trial. It fits a team where many volunteers need to edit.
- FreeShow and OpenLP are free and open source. They fit a church with a volunteer who is comfortable setting up software.
- Sermon Slides builds a sermon deck and can present it from Studio. It does not replace a lyrics and multi-output presentation tool, so a church with several screens or a stream still needs one of the tools above.
Which is the cheaper way to run Sunday's screens?
On the prices above, EasyWorship Basic starts lower than one ProPresenter seat (US$210 a year against US$289, both billed yearly), while EasyWorship Premium starts higher (US$330 a year). The two are priced differently: ProPresenter charges per seat (US$867 a year for three seats billed annually), while EasyWorship sets its price by your weekly attendance for a whole campus, so work out your own total. Proclaim shows no price, and says one subscription covers your whole team. FreeShow and OpenLP cost nothing, and PowerPoint or Google Slides may cost nothing extra if you already have them. Price is not the only thing to weigh: the tools differ in outputs, lyrics support and training time. Pick the one your least technical regular volunteer can run, then test it on a real service before you pay.
If the deck is the part you dread, Sermon Slides is a reason to try the free account: it builds an editable deck from your sermon, and your first deck is free, so you can see whether it saves you time before you decide how the screens will run.
